Getting Here
Mount Isa is remote, and that’s part of the magic.
BY AIR
Direct flights run from Brisbane, Townsville, and Cairns. Mount Isa Airport is just 10 minutes from town.
BY ROAD
Drive in via the Overlanders Way from Townsville (approx. 900km), or head in from Tennant Creek, Longreach or even Darwin.
BY COACH
Bus services operate regularly, offering scenic views and an affordable travel option.
